The letter was from school superintendent Chris Felmlee. He explains that the requirement is being put into place because 15% of the elementary school's board was out, due to positive COVID-19 cases and quarantines.
On Thursday, there were 88 elementary school students and staff who tested positive or are in quarantine. According to the school's COVID-19 dashboard, one staff member and five elementary school students tested positive. Eighty-two students are in quarantine.
