An Oklahoma rescue group is hoping to find a foster home for a dog that has spent more than 200 days with them, waiting to be adopted.According to the Bella SPCA Rescue Center, Sophie has been with them for 220 days waiting to find her forever home, and time and time again, she is overlooked. Recently, officials with the rescue said Sophie cut her leg, possibly while jumping in the yard and accidentally hitting something. The rescue group said Sophie was checked out by a veterinarian and received surgery, however, now she needs a calm environment so she can heal properly. “The rescue center is not adequate for this as it is stressful to the dogs,” the rescue group said in a Facebook post. The group is hoping to find a foster home for Sophie as she heals from her injury, and they will bring her food, leash, collar and medicine. Anyone who would like to help is asked to fill out a foster care application online.
