SIOUX FALLS — A man convicted for a 1999 rape in Davison County has died while serving his sentence in the South Dakota State Penitentiary.
State prison inmate Kenneth Harr died of natural causes Thursday at a Sioux Falls hospital, according to a release from the South Dakota Department of Corrections.
Harr was convicted twice of third-degree rape in 1999. He was sentenced to 12 years in one case, and had 12 years suspended in another.
Harr was 70 years old.
