One person was injured and two arrested after a shooting Wednesday in the Glenville community of Jackson County.
Authorities said officers were dispatched to Big Ridge Road after a 911 call indicated a person had been shot and the shooter had fled.
The victim, who was shot in the leg, was was taken to Mission Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, Jackson County authorities said in a news release.
Deputies identified a suspect and an accomplice, who were arrested Wednesday after returning returning to the area of the shooting several times, the sheriff's office said in the news release.
Christian Ryan Sammons, 28, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
Felisha Faye Coggins, 33, who is accused of helping Sammons flee the scene, was charged with accessory after the fact.
