The Padres recalled Anderson from Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday.
Anderson was previously called up from the minors Monday, only to head to the minors a day later. The Padres were able to bring him back before the minimum amount of time after Blake Snell (groin) was moved to the injured list Wednesday in a corresponding move. Anderson is expected to fill a low-leverage role out of the bullpen while he's up with San Diego.
