Kanawha deputies looking for information on construction site theft

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) —
Kanawha County deputies are asking the public’s help after a truck and thousands of dollars in tools were stolen over the weekend at a construction site near Malden.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office shared photos on social media of a 1995 Chevrolet 3500 which was stolen Sunday in the 4700 block of Kanawha Boulevard East. The truck had a West Virginia license plate registered 1LA130 at the time of the theft. Tools valued at more than $1,000 were also stolen.
Deputies said a U-Haul truck was used in the crime and a suspect in the incident is seen in the photos next to the U-Haul.
