CLEVELAND (WJW)– Law enforcement is investigating a suspected murder-suicide that happened on Cleveland’s east side on Thursday.
According to the Cleveland Division of Police, officers responded to the scene at East 124th and Brackland Avenue where they found a woman shot and killed. Investigators say she suffered from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
The Cleveland SWAT team was in the area on Gray Avenue for the suspect, an armed male, who locked inside a residence.
When the SWAT team made their way into the home around 10:30 p.m., investigators say they found the man dead with a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The suspected murder-suicide is still under investigation.
