A pair of homeowners in the town of Newburgh are alerting residents to lock their cars after burglaries this week.
Both car burglaries were caught on home surveillance video early Tuesday morning.
The residents say their unlocked vehicles were broken into on Johanna Drive just minutes apart. They say personal items and a few dollars in cash were stolen.
"It's very frustrating. It feels helpless…I'm just trying to reach out and let people know,” says Joe Pungello.
News 12 was told both cases were reported to Newburgh police.
