Lockdown lifted at Salisbury High School after police determined shots fired call nearby was false

SALISBURY, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) — Salisbury High School went on lockdown Thursday afternoon after officers responded nearby to reported gunshots fired call.

According to Salisbury Police Department, the call came in around 1:30 p.m. Investigators soon determined that the call was false, and the lockdown at the school was lifted.
