Cumberland County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 41% of people fully vaccinated

Cumberland County has administered more than 146,608 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, as of Sept. 14, according to data from the New Jersey Department of Health.

That's up 1.82% from the previous week's tally of 143,987 COVID-19 doses administered.

In Cumberland County, 41% of people living in Cumberland County are fully vaccinated as of Sept. 14. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

New Jersey reported 1,121,089 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 1% from the week before.

The five counties with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in New Jersey as of Sept. 14 are Morris County (65%), Somerset County (64%), Bergen County (63%), Middlesex County (60%) and Hudson County (59%).
