Jake Paul says he’s 10 per cent closer to becoming a billionaire after defeating Tyron Woodley by split-decision win.

The 24-year-old sat down exclusively with DailyMailTV for the first time since his win against the former heavyweight champion.

Paul confirmed a rematch is unlikely but did finally reveal the number of zeros on the paycheck he received thanks to his win.

‘It’s eight-figure paydays,’ Jake admits.

'The money is great, the business is great, it is. I work blood, sweat, and tears in the gym, but this is a product of working day in and day out since I was 17 years old.’

Paul says he’s only beginning to get the respect of a fighter after outboxing a five-time Hall of Fame UFC fighter in seven of the eight rounds.

The self-proclaimed ‘problem child’ has had a scandal-risen rise to fame that’s landed him with over 60million followers across platforms, though he confesses all the exposure came at a cost.

‘The internet is a ruthless place where you're never really held accountable for your actions.’

Paul tells DailyMailTV that he’s leaving his headlined Hollywood past behind and owes his change of outlook to the boxing ring.

‘This sport can save my life And I'm sure it can save others.’

The influencer also reflects on his past in a new op-ed for DailyMail.com, explaining how he was ‘hired and fired by Disney’ before becoming a household name.

‘I’ve transcended the traditional media landscape into mainstream business success, not one bit of it which I take for granted.’

‘I think a lot of people in today's generation, especially celebrities, don't want to admit to doing something wrong,’ Paul told DailyMailTV host Thomas Roberts. ‘But I'm perfectly OK with that.’

The streamer says his influencer environment was highly conducive to bully-like behavior which he’s witnessed, been subjected to, and been the instigator of.

‘When people were cyberbullying me, attacking me on the Internet and I realized how much it hurt my feelings, I was like, wait, I've done this, too.’

Making amends, Paul has launched a nonprofit called Boxing Bullies which aims to bring boxing and anti-bullying education together.

‘Boxing helped me find confidence in myself to realize I don't need to prove to everybody that I'm a tough guy,’ he said.

‘I love this sport so much. And now I've just wanted to share it with the rest of the world and share my story with maybe some young kids out there.’

When asked if he feels he still had something to prove despite his boxing wins and online success, Paul agreed he will ‘always have a chip on his shoulder.’

‘All I can do is do me and continue to prove people wrong. And then hopefully they'll maybe look at me and be like, you know what, I was wrong about this kid, and that's OK.’ Paul tells Roberts. ‘It's OK to be wrong about people.’

Paul expressed his gratitude to DailyMailTV and DailyMail.com for the chance to open up about his past and the toxicity of bullying.

‘You guys have been there through the ups and the downs and now are giving me an opportunity to say my peace.’
