Weather permitting, the bike park, golf course, scenic chairlift rides, lake activities, RV Resort and Lodge will remain open on weekends for visitors until Halloween.

After a successful summer return, Angel Fire Resort announced they will extend their 2021 summer season. According to a news release, several activities will remain open until late October.

“We knew this summer would have an epic turnout simply due to how many people were looking for outdoor, family activities after staying at home for nearly a year,” Angel Fire Resort marketing director Greg Ralph said. “This is the longest summer season we’ve planned, but with the bikers and golfers still coming out to ride and play, we’re happy to stay open as long as the weather cooperates.”

While daily operations officially closed after Labor Day, weather permitting, the bike park, golf course, scenic chairlift rides, lake activities, RV Resort and Lodge will remain open on weekends for visitors until Halloween.

“We see some of the best fall weather in the country here in Angel Fire," said Patrick West, manager of Angel Fire Bike Park. "While it is still hot in the southern part of the country, or already too cold in the north, we tend to have a mild fall with gorgeous fall leaves. It’s honestly one of my favorite times to ride in the park."

Along with the summer extension, Angel Fire Resort also announced its winter ski season will open Dec. 10. The winter season will go through March 20, 2022, according to the release.

Early winter season passes are currently on sale, with pricing ranging from $59 for children and up to $699 for adults. The pass includes unlimited skiing and snowboarding throughout the 2021-2022 season with no blackout dates, night skiing when available and three free days of riding at Powder Alliance partner resorts, according to the release.

“We understand many people might still be lounging by the pool or out on the golf course, but we just wanted to get on everyone’s radar a little earlier this year,” Ralph said. “These early-season deals are the best value for those who plan to hit the slopes this winter.”
