It has now been three months since 5-year-old Summer Wells went missing from her home in Hawkins County.
The disappearance of Summer sparked a major search in June, with hundreds of first responders searching day and night for her.
Wells' parents, Donald Wells and Candus Wells, have said they believe their daughter was abducted.
Jesse Mulvane has organized prayer gatherings in Borden Park in Kingsport every Saturday evening since the beginning of July.
"It was just a burden on my heart," he said. "God put the burden on my heart, like 'Hey we need to do something.'"
Mulvane believes that the community needs to lift Summer up in prayers as much as possible, and still believes she will come home safe.
"I know God's got her in his hands and keeping her safe," he said. "It's just a matter of when she's coming home."
The TBI said Wednesday they have received more than 1,200 tips, but none of those tips have lead to finding Summer.
The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office has denied requests for interviews on the case, but Criminologist Dr. Alex Del Carmen said as long as the tips keep coming in, law enforcement officials will continue to search.
"Often time with technology, DNA, tracing, and with various things we have now there's a likelihood that at some point that one lead will lead the investigators to resolve the incident," he said. "That's our hope."
The TBI is still searching for a 1998/2000 red or maroon Toyota truck that was reported in the area of Beech Creek Road and Ben Hill Road when Summer went missing.
The driver is not considered a suspect.
