For the second time in four years, COPS will film with Hamilton County Sheriff's Office for their TV series.
“I am very pleased that our agency has once again been chosen to partner with COPS to display the talent, expertise, and professionalism shown by our deputies not only to the members of our community, but to the world,” said Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Hammond.
COPS film crews rode with HCSO deputies for nine weeks back in September of 2020. A number of stories and incident footage from their adventures will now be featured on Season 33. Five episodes were filmed, and they will begin to air in the middle of November this year.
“Many men and women who serve in law enforcement today, including several in our agency, watched COPS as a young child or adult and chose a profession in law enforcement based on what they saw on COPS," said Hammond. "We can use this unique opportunity as a way to recruit the best and brightest to our ranks.”
The show filmed with Hamilton County deputes back in 2018 too. They met with members of the command staff, public relations and Sherriff Hammond.
COPS TV will exclusively air on Fox Nation, which is Fox's streaming service. First responders, active service members and veterans can get one free year of the subscription service.
