Camp opens on Thursday, September 23rd at the Fifth Third Arena and will run until October 12th, the first day of the NHL regular season and the day before the Blackhawks open the season against the Colorado Avalanche. Practices at the Fifth Third Arena will be open to the public (MASKS REQUIRED), with preseason home game practices happening at the United Center.
The roster for training camp will be released next week.
Also, with camp now officially one week away, we’ll bring you a few position battles to keep an eye on as things progress. Yesterday, we started off with the backup battle in net behind starter Marc-André Fleury.
After the addition of Marc-André Fleury, who will be Chicago’s backup goaltender? https://t.co/btayFbKQMH
