CM volleyball notches road win over Bellefonte

BELLEFONTE, PA – The Central Mountain volleyball team traveled to Centre County on Wednesday night and returned to Clinton County with a nice road win over Bellefonte.

The Lady Wildcats lost the first set, 23-25, but took the next three, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-23 for the win and a 3-1 start to the season. Head Coach Jamie Rauch said, “This was an overall team victory. We had several of our sophomores play this evening and they were contributors to our total team effort.”

The Lady ‘Cats will next be in action Saturday hosting Mifflin County, jayvees at 11 a.m., the varsity to follow at noon. The contest will be streamed on therecord-online with Mike Frank and Tom Elling.
