Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Matty Barton finds himself at the centre of tension tonight (September 16) following his nasty accident at The Woolpack.
Matty (Ash Palmisciano) was left with painful injuries yesterday while helping out with a barbecue event at the pub.
When Matty used lighter fluid on the barbecue, he inadvertently sent up a fireball of flames and burned his hands.
Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) were both left horrified over the incident, fearing the consequences if Matty wanted compensation.

In Thursday's hour-long episode, Marlon and Chas's worst fears are realised as Moira jumps to her son's defence.
Although Matty is back home from hospital and his injuries could have been worse, he won't be able to work for the time being.
Moira is quick to point out that Matty deserves to be compensated for his loss of earnings, so she goes to The Woolpack to confront Chas and Marlon on Matty's behalf.
As Moira gives her thoughts on the situation, pointing out that they're to blame for not training Matty properly, it's clear to Chas and Marlon that this unfortunate situation won't be going away anytime soon.

Chas insists that the pub simply can't afford to give Matty a payout, but Moira doesn't show much sympathy.
The drama also leaves Moira's husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) with divided loyalties. Moira expects his support, but he doesn't want to see his sister's business go under.
With The Woolpack facing an uncertain future, the new storyline sets the stage for Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) to make an offer for a share of the pub, as revealed in recent spoilers.
Tonight's episode airs in an hour-long slot, as a bonus edition of Coronation Street has been scheduled for 8pm.
