Cleveland Cavs announce promos for 2021-22 season at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse

The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced promotions, giveaways and theme nights for the 2021-22 season.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – From bobbleheads to a bucket hat, coasters to cards, promotions run the gamut for the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2021-22 home season.

So far, 29 of 41 home dates will have some sort of promotion, giveaway or celebration.

Here are some key promotions throughout the season:

• Home opener is 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, when the Cavs host the Charlotte Hornets. Fans will receive a t-shirt.

• A trio of bobbleheads will feature rapper Machine Gun Kelly (Monday, Jan. 31, vs. New Orleans Pelicans), 2021 first-round draft choice Evan Mobley (Monday, March 14, vs. Los Angeles Clippers) and Jarrett Allen (Wednesday, March 30, vs. Dallas Mavericks).

• The Cavs are hosting the 71st All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 20. On Wednesday, Feb. 9, fans will receive a miniature All-Star Desk Sign. The Cavs face the San Antonio Spurs that night.

• Bucket-hat giveaway is Monday, Jan. 24, vs. New York Knicks.

• Trading-cards giveaway is Saturday, March 19, vs. Detroit Pistons.

• Coaster-set giveaway is Sunday, April 10, vs. NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks.

In addition, the Cavs will hold various community celebrations, including:

• Salute to veterans - Wednesday, Nov. 10, vs. Washington Wizards.

• Pride Night celebrating LGBTQ+ community - Saturday, Jan. 22, vs. Oklahoma City Thunder.

• Black Heritage Celebration - Sunday, Feb. 6, vs. Indiana Pacers.

• Noche Latina - ¡Vamos Cavs! Hispanic Culture - Saturday, March 19, vs. Detroit Pistons.

• Women’s History Celebration - Sunday, March 6, vs. Toronto Raptors.

Single-game tickets for 41 regular-season home games and two preseason home games are on sale online.

Ticket promotions include a Family Fun Pack of four tickets, each with a $10 concessions credit, for $21 (Loudville) or $65 (lower level). Details will be available at Cavs.com/Offers beginning Thursday, Sept. 23. A Cavs Student Pass is available for college and high school students via Cavs.com/StudentPass. And a Cavs Monthly Pass allows ticket holders to attend all 13 home games in October and November. Passes are $49 (Loudville) or $89 (lower level); go to Cavs.com/Monthly.

A rep for the team says 11 City Edition nights are scheduled to be held, with details to be announced a later date, along with other theme/awareness nights.

The Cavs finished 22-50 last season.
