Fire Breaks Out In Santa Clarita Office Building, Cause Under Investigation

A small fire broke out in a Santa Clarita office building Thursday morning due to an unknown cause, officials said.

Around 7 a.m. Thursday, emergency responders received reports of a commercial fire at the Valencia Industrial Center on the 25100 block of Anza Drive in Valencia, according to Bernard Peters, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“Most units have been released as of 8 a.m.,” Peters said. “They are working on mopping up the incident right now.”

The fire, which had been contained to two office units within the building, was quickly extinguished by firefighters, according to Peters.

Units remained on scene until approximately  9 a.m. to investigate the incident and clean up the scene, according to Fire officials.

The cause of the fire remains unknown and is under investigation, according to Peters.

No injuries were reported.
