GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team fell to Adelphi University, 1-0. The Owls fall to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the NE10, while the Panthers improve to 1-1-1 overall and 1-1 in the NE10.
How It Happened
- After a scoreless first half, Adelphi found the back of the net in the 57th minute of the second half.Â
- Graduate student Nadine Hilkert (Baden-Württemberg, Germany), senior Kaitlyn D'Amico (Middletown, Conn.), sophomore Lindsay Burnham (Bow, N.H.), and freshman Victoria Vera (Plainview, N.Y.) all collected two shots each.
- Graduate student Allie Smith (Danbury, Conn.) made six saves through 90 minutes for SCSU in the loss.
