Love the charm of Paris but also want to capture the thrill of NYC in your home décor? Now you can have both. Tempaper, the industry's first removable wallpaper brand, teamed up with home décor powerhouse The Novogratz to release the New York and Parisian-inspired Waverly Collection, available online today.

Featuring six new patterns across eight colorways, the new collection is inspired by the townhouse designers Robert and Cortney Novogratz are renovating on Waverly Street in NYC's West Village. The colors, patterns and textures found within this collection were discovered during the renovation process and celebrate old New York style mixed with classic Parisian flair.

"It's a nearly 200-year-old townhouse, and that was the inspiration," the Novogratz duo tells MyDomaine. "In that rich history, the building has only had 3 previous owners, and there were many hidden old wallpapers, patterns, and colors that were a source of inspiration."

Tempaper, which was formed by sisters Jennifer Matthews and Julia Au in 2008, first collaborated with fellow family-owned business The Novogratz in 2018. In their new collection, they included a daisy print, zebra marble, cranes, wildflowers, and even a homage to the actual Waverly House. With a color palette of dusty rose, deep green, pastels, and the always trusty black and white, there's a combination for minimalists and maximalists alike.

"Always tough to pick a favorite when you design a line," the Novogratzes explain. "We're installing the pink 'Family of Cranes' pattern in our daughter Tallulah's first NYC apartment. Whenever you see a pattern being used in a project, it comes to life."

Jennifer Matthews of Tempaper also finds it hard to pick a favorite, but is drawn to the "mid-century look" of the Tallulah Belle pattern.

"I love its dainty appeal and European vibe," Matthews says. "It’s a versatile design as well – I can see it in powder rooms, hallways or even in a kid’s space."

Not sure where to hang your wallpaper? The Novogratzes have got you covered.

"We love seeing [our wallpaper] when our community uses them in surprising places like powder rooms and behind bookshelves," the Novogratzes say. "Personally, we love to make a big bold accent wall that is a visual anchor when you walk in."

If you're not comfortable making a bold statement, the beauty of peel-and-stick wallpaper is that there's no long-term commitment required. Retailing at $39.99 per roll, it's perfect for adding a touch of whimsy and elegance to any space.

"The biggest compliment we receive, is when someone tells us we gave them the confidence to take a chance," the Novogratzes reveal. "That can be in design or life, but it always feels amazing when our community takes a chance."
