Meek Mill is back and gearing up to release his highly anticipated fifth studio album entitled, Expensive Pain. After being heckled by fans for nearly three years, the Dreamchasers founder has finally announced a release date for the upcoming project -- October 1.

The news of Expensive Pain dropping soon comes weeks after Meek took to Twitter to tease the then unnamed album and some of it's possible features. During a Q&A session, the Philly rapper promoted his new single "Sharing Locations" featuring Lil Baby and Lil Durk, which is slated to be featured on Pain.

Meek also revealed during the Q&A that his new body of work will consist of 18 tracks. But what fans really want to know is if Meek's prison reform partner and "What's Free" collaborator, Jay-Z will be featured on his forthcoming project. Fans began to speculate that Hov would be apart of the album after photos of he and the "Dreams and Nightmares" rapper were spotted together in the studio earlier this year.

Meek shared a photo of the dope moment to Instagram, writing,

"If I ain’t him it’s one of my guys. If You the richest In the room you in the wrong room goat talk wit some billionaires I’ll be there soon!"

Meek Mill has yet to confirm whether or not the rap legend would be featured on his new album, however his follow-up to 2018’s Championships will feature his collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert entitled “Blue Notes 2”. Catch Expensive Pain when it hits streaming services on October 1. Check out the video for "Sharing Locations" below.
