A possible robbery victim apparently hit and injured the man who robbed him in the east valley Thursday morning, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

An altercation was reported around 2 a.m. in the parking lot of El Rincon De Los Remedios at Washington Avenue and Pecos Road, Lt. Geiger with LVMPD said.

"The male who was hit with the truck potentially robbed the male that hit him just prior," Geiger said.

The man hit with the truck was taken to UMC with critical injuries, though his condition is described as stable.

Patrol detectives are on scene, and nobody else is believed to be at large, according to Geiger.

No other details were immediately available.
