SAN JOSE (KRON) — A 15-year-old boy has been arrested for the shooting death of a family member outside a liquor store in San Jose.
Investigators early Thursday morning were taking evidence from the scene at Tropicana Liquor on Story Road, where a woman was shot and later died from her injuries.
The shooting happened Wednesday night, just before 8 p.m., according to the San Jose Police Department.
The suspect was booked into Juvenile Hall for manslaughter, police said. They did not reveal his identity or his exact relation to the woman. The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office will be releasing the victims name.
