Mask mandate now in effect at Deer Creek Public Schools

EDMOND, Okla. (KOKH) —
Masks are now required at Deer Creek Public Schools.

At its last meeting, the school board voted unanimously to require students and staff to wear masks while inside school buildings.
Students do have an option to opt-out for medical, religious or personal reasons.
The school district will also no longer require quarantines for students. Instead, the district will just recommend quarantines.
