Washington County has 50% of individuals fully vaccinated
Washington County hit the 50% fully vaccinated mark in Arkansas, according to data from the Arkansas Department of Health. The Fayetteville Board of Health discussed the milestone during their Wednesday, Sept. 15, meeting. "This weekend we went over 50% fully vaccinated and over 60% at least partially vaccinated. We were the first county out of Benton, Pulaski, and Washington County to do that," Fayetteville Health Officer Dr. Marti Sharkey said. As of Wednesday, Sept. 15, the Arkansas Department of Health reported 50.3% of individuals in Washington County were fully vaccinated. Twelve of Arkansas' 75 counties have more than 50% of their population fully vaccinated.
