FOUND: Missing non-verbal teen last seen in York has been located, safe and well

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Police in York County asked for help locating a missing teen. Northern York County Regional Police say 15-year-old Isabella Orner was last seen Wednesday around 9:15 p.m. in the area of the 6400 block of York Road in Heidelberg Township.

As of 1:15 p.m., Orner was located in Heidelberg Township, safe and well, according to York County PA Office of Emergency Management’s external affairs officer, Ted Czech. She is undergoing a medical evaluation.

The York County Pa Office of Emergency Management says about 30 law enforcement officers and trained civilians were searching for Isabella, with 10 K-9s, drones and ground personnel re-searching the half-mile area around her last-known location. The search was expanded to areas outside of the original search zone.

Isabella is described as a non-verbal individual and last seen wearing a pink t-shirt, light khaki pants, and flip-flops. According to the agency’s Facebook page, Orner is autistic and may be at special risk of harm or injury or may be confused.

In a press release, authorities added, “If you see her, do not approach her, but call 911 and attempt to keep her in your eyesight.”

There was one reported spotting of Orner, as of 12:23 p.m., according to the agency’s Facebook page, but it remains an active search.
