Tickets to see the highly anticipated run of "Hamilton" in Jacksonville are hard to come by, but a lucky few fans at each performance will be able to get in for, well, a Hamilton.

A weekly digital #HAM4HAM lottery that rewards winners with $10 tickets to the Broadway blockbuster kicks off Friday. A limited number of tickets will be offered for each of the 24 performances scheduled for Sept. 29-Oct. 17 at the Times-Union Center.

Three lotteries in all will be held, with each awarding tickets for a week's worth of shows. The first, for tickets to Sept. 29-Oct. 6 performances, opens at 12:01 a.m. Friday and closes at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23. Subsequent lotteries will be open Sept. 24 and Oct. 1 for shows later in the run.

To participate, download the official "Hamilton" app at hamiltonmusical.com or visit hamiltonmusical.com/lottery. Select the Jacksonville shows and enter your name. Winners will be notified between 1 and 4 p.m. on the Thursday that the lottery concludes, then have two hours to claim and pay for up to two $10 tickets. Unclaimed tickets will be forfeited.

You can only enter each lottery one time. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. Winners must be at least 18 years old, and tickets are non-transferrable. Winners will be able to pick up their tickets at the Times-Union Center will-call window 90 minutes before the start of the performance.

"Hamilton" was originally scheduled for 16 performances in March of 2020 but was one of the first big events to be postponed by the pandemic. Tickets are still available for most performances at fscjartistseries.com.
