A two vehicle accident occurred Wednesday afternoon in rural Haskell County. The accident happened at approximately 5:30pm, on County Road PP, Just South of County Road 190 in Haskell County.

A 2015 Ford F350 being driven by Ryan Penrod, 18, of Moscow, was southbound on Road PP in Haskell County while a 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 being driven by Slater Stapleton, 15, of Sublette, was Northbound on Road PP. The area was dusty and low visibility from previous traffic. Penrod crossed the center of the roadway, then, when the dust cleared, his Ford was partially in Stapleton’s  lane. The Penrod vehicle side swiped the Dodge. The Dodge entered the East ditch and rolled, coming to final rest on its wheels facing Northwest in the East ditch. The Ford left the area of impact, dropping its passenger wheels off in the West ditch before coming across the roadway into the East ditch. The Ford came to final rest facing Southeast in the East ditch.

Penrod was taken to the Satanta District Hospital with minor injuries, Stapleton and a passenger in his vehicle, Maverick Stapleton, 19, of Sublette, were not injured.
