'WENDY OST' Trends After Red Velvet Member Joins 'Yumi's Cells' Soundtrack Lineup

Red Velvet Member Wendy to Lend Voice for Yumi's Cells OST

On September 16, Stone Music Entertainment, which will produce the OST for "Yumi's Cells," stated that on September 17, Red Velvet member Wendy's "Are You Caring About Me?" will be released as the first track that will go well with the drama atmosphere. With this, they plan to release one or two OSTs every week.

The song was written by Composer Lim Su-ho. Aside from this, CJ ENM's Open Dean Man and Dailog worked together to feature the synergy of senior and junior composers. It will complete the OST that represents the drama's ambience.

"Are You Caring About Me?" is a song with a lovely ambition to see if the person that someone has the same feelings as each other. It presents lyrics that anyone who experienced love can easily relate to.

Particularly, with Red Velvet member Wendy's charming vocals, it is anticipated that the blossoming of love and innocence of the idea, not having idea on what to do, will be felt by listeners.

Wendy's "Yumi's Cells" OST Part 1 "Are You Caring for Me?" will be released on September 17 at 6 PM (KST) on various domestic music sites.

"Yumi's Cells" is TVING's drama based on the popular webtoon of the same name that has amassed 3.2 billion views. It is a cell-stimulating sympathetic romance that tells the story of a simple girl Yu-Mi, who eats, loves, and grows with cells.

The drama also stars Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Yu Bi, Park Ji Hyun, and it will air on tvN at 10:50 PM (KST) every Friday and Saturday.

Red Velvet Wendy drops a Hint on Group's Contract Renewal

When the "Like Water" singer was recently asked about what she would do for the following weekend, she answered she a photoshoot "for later." Then, she was asked if it was okay to tell the fans about all the details.

Wendy's major spoiler has left a lot of questions if she was to take photos alone or with her co-members.

Normally, SM Entertainment does not publish "Season's Greetings" for their solo artists. It is then speculated that Wendy would have a shoot for the whole group or just only some of her co-members.

But Wendy's major hint cannot be considered as a proof. Also, it implies that Red Velvet's disbandment will not happen in the future.

For now, Reveluvs will have to wait for the official announcement about their contract.

As of now, no one has any idea on what is happening behind the scenes. Many fans are still optimistic that the group will still be with each other, especially that the girl group made an impressive comeback with their album "Queendom."

Aside from Wendy, each one of the members is also doing well in various solo activities, like dramas, movies, YouTube original series, and radio shows.
