Rubio Rubin Levels Score For Real Salt Lake Before Break Against San Jose

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Rubio Rubin scored Real Salt Lake’s first goal against the San Jose Earthquakes and leveled the scoreboard before halftime.
The Quakes hosted RSL at PayPal Park in the Bay Area on Wednesday, September 15.
During the second minute of stoppage time before the break, Rubin headed in a deflected ball to get RSL on the scoreboard.
The goal tied the match at 1-1.

The goal was Rubin’s sixth of the season.
He entered the match with five goals, four assists, 43 shots, and 16 shots on goal in 16 appearances in 2021.
