Ruxandra Porojnicu has announced her departure from Coronation Street.
The Alina Pop actress has been a mainstay of the ITV soap since 2019, and has been most recently involved in a pregnancy storyline with Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall).

Coronation Street viewers haven't actually seen the last of Alina yet, as she is set to appear in Thursday's special hour-long episode.
Though Alina revealed she'd got pregnant weeks after her tragic miscarriage, she has decided to leave Weatherfield because Tyrone has admitted he wants to get back with ex-partner Fiz.
Viewers will next see Tyrone tracking Alina down to beg her to stay on the cobbles for the sake of raising their child with both parents.

"I was excited because it's a storyline I've never played before and it's always good to have a challenge," she said at the time.
Porojnicu made her first appearance in Coronation Street in April 2019 as part of a powerful storyline about modern slavery with Seb Franklin.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
