Los Angeles Lakers new superstar duo in LeBron James and Russell Westbrook is poised to be one of the most dynamic pairs in the league this season. Westbrook is the latest superstar addition to the already-loaded Lakers roster which has James and eight-time All-Star Anthony Davis. Although the team did lose a few key players en route to acquiring the former MVP, the fiery point guard has proven so far in his career that he's worth every penny with the way he instantly impacts his team's intensity and grit.

It's been an exciting couple of days for Laker fans who have been waiting to see Westbrook and James finally team up this season. Earlier this week, the two long-time friends were seen in a cameo performance in the latest music video of Nas' latest single called ‘Brunch On Sundays‘ where Bron and Brodie were seen chugging down a few glasses of champagne.

On the court, James and his new MVP point guard is looking to do some damage in the very competitive Western Conference as they try to make up for lost time with an early exit in the 2021 NBA playoffs against reigning Western Conference champs the Phoenix Suns. With Westbrook's arrival in Hollywood, the Lakers are hungry for another top-eight finish and will be looking to hopefully make some waves in the postseason.
