PORTLAND (WGME) – It was a busy afternoon and evening of severe storms in Maine, capped off with a tornado warning late Wednesday afternoon.

Tornado Warning for parts of Cumberland and Oxford Counties expires

In Falmouth, a lightning strike from the storm hit a barn.

A woman living in an apartment in the barn made it out OK.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire to the garage portion of the barn and save the apartment.
