SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Police are investigating what led up to a man being shot in the leg Wednesday night.
The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. on near the 100 block of W. Grand Ave., according to dispatch records.

Dispatchers said the victim was transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
