Here’s something nice to sweeten your baseball evening.
Chicago White Sox closer set-up man Craig Kimbrel is known for, among other things, his idiosyncratic bent-over-arms-out-holding position while he reviews the signs from his catcher. It is weird and fun and ripe for impersonation. But what makes it PARTICULARLY fun is when a young fan out there is doing the move right alongside Kimbrel, like this little dude a few nights ago:

That’s just good wholesome fun right there. Kid out there watching a game, playing around, camera catches him, and everyone enjoys the moment. I smiled when I saw it earlier in the week.
And it got better.
Because tonight, that fan got a chance to MEET Kimbrel before the White Sox game, and it was just as sweet as you would expect:
The kid who impersonated Craig Kimbrel’s delivery in the stands got to meet him & was given some cleats 🙌
