NORFOLK --  A museum in Norfolk is rolling out a new program for families titled "Our Town, Our World."

Education Coordinator Libby McKay told NCN the Elkhorn Valley Museum will have activities, food, stories, and language lessons connected to whichever culture is featured that month.

"It's basically an opportunity for us to reflect on the cultures that have helped to shape Norfolk," McKay said.

The family program will be held every fourth Wednesday of the month, running from 6 to 7 p.m.

The first event will feature Germany, on September 22. October will be Mexico, and in November the museum will partner with the Ponca Tribe.

The cost for attendance is $5 per family, and it's open to everyone.
