Ohio native pumped in over 30 points per game as a junior at Buchtel in Akron.

Kentucky landed its third five-star prospect in the Class of 2022 on Wednesday as Chris Livingston of Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) announced he's joining a loaded group of recruits headed to Lexington. Top-ranked recruit Shaedon Sharpe and No. 17 Skyy Clark committed to the Wildcats previously.

Livingston, a 6-foot-7 wing, was named MaxPreps Ohio Player of the Year following the 2020-21 season after averaging 31.1 points, 15.8 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 4.7 steals and 4.3 blocks per contest while shooting 71 percent from the field. He helped Buchtel (Akron) go 18-5 en route to the program's second district championship in the past three seasons.

In January, Livingston produced a head-turning stat line in a win over East (Akron), going for 54 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists and eight steals.

Regarded as the No. 6 prospect in the Class of 2022 according to 247Sports, Livingston picked the Wildcats over his other Georgetown and Tennessee State.

He recently announced he would be attending Oak Hill Academy for his senior season after compiling over 2,000 career points in his past three seasons at Buchtel (Akron, Ohio) and Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, Ohio).

John Calipari and the Wildcats are also still in the mix for other top prospects, including five-stars Dereck Lively II, Cason Wallace, Adem Bona, Nick Smith and Brandon Miller.
