  1. I knew Gene from San Francisco, where he lived with me and my partner several times…..as well as his brother Doug. After we moved back to Texas, he came and lived with us there for about 6 months……When I re-married in 2003, I lost track of him due to my own laziness but his persona has ALWAYS BEEN WITH ME…….there never lived a finer man than Gene Austin Gray…….and wherever he is now residing, he is sitting at a piano playing Scott Joplin better than anyone else on earth…….REST IN PEACE MY DEAR GENE……THANKS FOR GIVING ME SUCH GREAT MEMORIES.
