Contract worker for local school district arrested in drug trafficking ring bust: Police

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) —
A Johnstown woman who's a contract worker at a local school district was arrested on drug charges Wednesday morning, investigators say.

Law enforcement sources tell 6 News that Cortney Mayor was arrested at Forest Hills High School.
Her arrest comes after a two-year drug trafficking investigation involving federal, state and local police, court documents show.
Investigators say Mayer was part of a ring selling various drugs including meth, heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine.
Forest Hills District Superintendent David Lehman released the following statement to 6 News:

“The Forest Hills School District’s protocol is to work with law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of all Rangers. Today the District cooperated with law enforcement officials regarding an investigation of an employee of a third party service provider. The individual is not an employee of the Forest Hills School District. This situation is under law enforcement investigation. In regard to specific details or for further questions regarding this situation, those inquiries should be directed to the third party vendor.”
