Coronation Street reveals surprise pregnancy twist for Alina Pop

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Alina Pop has had a devastating few weeks, after she nearly died in a fire and then found out that although she survived, her baby did not.

Then, tonight's (September 15) episodes saw things get even worse for her.

First of all, Tyrone Dobbs' child Hope apologised for starting the fire, as well as all the others she had started. A horrified Alina realised that Tyrone knew about that and had kept it secret from her.

Then, when she confronted him about his lies, Tyrone admitted that he still has feelings for his ex, Fiz Stape, who he recently shared a kiss with, and that he wants to get back with her.

The news was extra devastating for Alina, as she had just found out that she was pregnant again, confiding in Emma that she was planning on telling Tyrone on that same day.

Upset and angry, Alina decided that she wouldn't leave without first humiliating Tyrone first. She dropped off their couples' photoshoot picture off at the garage, having scrawled 'LIAR' over Tyrone's head.

Meanwhile, Fiz admitted to her new love interest Phill Whittaker that she kissed Tyrone, but insisted that it made her realise she's gotten over him.

With Alina about to leave, Emma Brooker revealed to Tyrone that Alina is pregnant with his child again, not realising that he didn't already know. He then chased after her and begged her to stay, saying that the baby changes everything.

After all the ups and downs she's gone through in her whirlwind romance with Tyrone, will Alina change her mind, or is she going to Romania for good?

Judging how she told him he'd done a "rubbish job" with his own kids and she wouldn't trust him anywhere near hers, it's not looking likely.

Whatever happens, Fiz actress Jennie McAlpine has teased that there's plenty of juicy drama to come.

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
