An 83-year-old man from Lincoln, Nebraska died Wednesday after a crash on Interstate 80 in Johnson County.

An Iowa State Patrol crash report says Jimmie Danielson died after the car he was driving came in contact with two other vehicles.

Danielson's vehicle, a 1969 MG convertible, flipped over and ended up on its top in the median.

The crash happened before noon in the westbound lanes of the busy Interstate.

Another person, Rose Hitz, 82 of Lincoln, Nebraska, was injured and taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

The crash is under investigation.
