Dustin Wayne Stanford, 44 of Normangee, TX passed away September 8th, 2021, in Bryan, TX. He was born to Donnie and LaNell Stanford on June 22nd, 1977, in Bryan, TX.

A visitation was scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at Cozart Funeral Home. The funeral service was scheduled at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Ten Mile Church in Normangee, Texas. Interment followed at Ten Mile Cemetery with a reception at the Fellowship Hall of the church afterwards, where everyone was welcome.

He attended Normangee ISD where he excelled in all sports and was awarded High School Athlete of the Year his senior year and End All Be All Squad of the Brazos Valley. After graduating high school, he worked at the family business alongside his parents for the next twenty-four years where he called his mom daily to make fun of and tattle on his dad. Along the way while working there he not only gained a brother-in-law but his best friend, Nick.

One of the high lights of his life was his precious daughter, Maci. He adored the young woman she has grown to be as well as all of her academic achievements. Throughout life, he found joy in fishing, playing golf and his sweet dog, Sailor. He was also a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. He spent many years collecting memorabilia and had built quite the collection.

He was finally blessed to find his soulmate and love of his life, Kimberly. They enjoyed going to the beach, traveling, visiting her hometown, and spending time with family. As long as they were together, they always found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He worshiped the ground she walked on as much as she worshiped him. He would always say, “All the time, together forever baby.”

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, JT and Mary Lou Dawkins and Billy and Margaret Stanford.

He is survived by his daughter, Maci Brooke Stanford; wife, Kimberly Brown Stanford; parents, Donnie and LaNell Stanford; sister, Lindsey and husband, Nick Gafford; and nephews, River and Rayse; uncles, John T.
