SAN ANTONIO - The CEO's for San Antonio Water System and CPS Energy gave an update on the city's utilities.
Both say disconnections are starting back up for non-payment, which is the last thing they want to do.
They're encouraging people with a past due bill to call them so they can create a payment arrangement or to help get funds from the city.
Both SAWS and CPS Energy also discussed Winter Storm Uri and the impact it had on San Antonio.
"We hired a private company to grade us, to let us know what they think we did so that we're not the ones grading ourselves, so we're not the ones saying we did it right or we did it wrong. That report is in and so we're looking at it,” said Robert Puente, SAWS.
The SAWS CEO tells us they will make sure they implement the recommendations in the report for any future extreme weather events.
