Plainview’s newly remodeled city hall set to open Monday

The newly renovated Plainview City Hall, 202 W. 5th St., will open to the public at 9 a.m. on Monday.

Plainview city officials have announced they will open the newly remodeled city hall to the public on Monday.

City offices, including City Hall (901 Broadway), the Finance (Utility Billing) Office (121 W. 7th) and the Main Street Office (717 Broadway) will be closed to the public on Thursday and Friday. Anyone needing immediate assistance can call (806) 296-1100.  

To assist those needing to pay utility bills or municipal court tickets please use the secured automated telephone system or online payment options.

Telephone payments may be made via a Mastercard or Visa debit card or credit card – Utility bills may be paid by calling (866) 277-1446 and municipal court tickets may be paid by calling (866) 279-4737.

There are two online payment options for citizens to pay a utility bill or municipal court tickets – Quick Pay and Account Management that is available on the City’s website – www.plainviewtx.org.

“We are working to move to the new building as quickly as possible in order to create as little disruption in City services as possible,” says Snyder. “We are looking forward to better serving our citizens and businesses with a one-stop shop for city services.”

The new City Hall was donated to the City by Centennial Bank and was one of the six projects approved by citizens in the 2017 bond election.
