OCHS to host annual Paws for Fall Celebration

Ontario County Humane Society — Happy Tails Animal Shelter will host its third annual Paws for Fall Celebration and Festival on Sept. 18 to celebrate 32 years of serving homeless and abused animals.  

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shelter, located at 2976 County Road 48 in Canandaigua. Activities include shopping with local vendors, farm animals, pumpkin decorating, face painting and pet adoptions. Snacks will be provided.  

OCHS is collecting supplies to support other shelters in the area that experienced an influx of pet returns. Guests are encouraged to bring a donation of dog/cat food, toys or cleaning supplies to receive one free ticket toward raffle baskets.
