Ramos underwent surgery Wednesday to repair his torn ACL in his left knee, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.

Ramos was diagnosed with a torn ACL and sprained MCL at the end of August and was placed on the 60-day injured list as a result. The 34-year-old had already undergone two surgeries to repair his ACL in the past, and it's not yet clear when he'll be ready to return as he prepares for free agency this winter.
