Davante Adams and the Green Bay Packers got absolutely obliterated by the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, 38-3. Adams and Aaron Rodgers were both quiet, with the wide receiver catching five balls for 56 yards and Rodgers putting forth one of the worst games of his career.

Adams took to Twitter after the game and declared the Packers' need to “flush” the Week 1 debacle down the toilet, and now he's speaking more about the “weird” game.

Via NFL.com's Kevin Patra:

“It just got weird, man. It was a weird game,” Adams said. “We had like 12 plays in the first half. Our defense wasn't getting off the field and that just wasn't our best display. We came out really flat and I think that it'll be a really good wake-up call for us.”

Green Bay just had absolutely nothing for New Orleans all game long on either end of the field. The usually mighty Packers offense failing to reach the end zone was a major shocker, as was Jameis Winston throwing five touchdown passes. Rodgers even admitted the Packers were't ready to play, which was quite the admission.

Green Bay has a great opportunity to turn things around in Week 2 against the lowly Detroit Lions. The Lions have an awful secondary, so Rodgers and Adams should be in line for a big game.
