Reshad Baker Joins Women's Basketball Coaching Staff
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Louisiana native Reshad Baker has joined the Morehead State women's basketball coaching staff as Coordinator of Recruiting Operations.

Previously, Baker served as owner and head coach of the New Orleans-based Lady Flames Elite AAU team for the past six years. Before beginning his journey with the Lady Flames, he served as the director of the Louisiana Lady Pumas Elite AAU team, led by Dee Brown, former Louisiana Tech standout. In 2015, the Lady Pumas claimed the AAU Division I National Championship that featured current WNBA player Kalani Brown, where Baker served as an assistant coach.

During his eight-year period within the New Orleans AAU women's basketball scene, Baker was associated with four AAU state championship teams, including three undefeated clubs.

Baker has also gained valuable coaching and recruiting experience working with Morehead State's newest head coach Cayla Petree at South Plains College in Texas and at Gulf Coast State College in Florida.

"Reshad is a high energy, young coach who has had a ton of success with Lady Flames Elite out of Louisiana. His personality and love for the game will be a huge asset for our program," Petree added.

Baker earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Southern (New Orleans) in 2019.
