The suspect in a Quincy kidnapping is finally behind bars.
Mario A. Mason, 40, was discovered in Marshall County, Kentucky.
Authorities had been searching for Mason after the kidnapping victim, Tabitha Campbell, escaped in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Detectives found out Wednesday night that a stolen vehicle, driven by Mason, used in the kidnapping was in Marshall County.
The vehicle fled from Marshall County Sheriff's deputies and Benton Police in rural Marshall County.
The Marshall County Sheriff's says Mason then parked the vehicle in a subdivision and took off on foot into a wooded area.
Multiple agencies conducted an extensive search using drones, police canines, ATV's, and UTV's of the wooded area.
Mason was taken into custody approximately five hours after he was first spotted.
Mason is facing numerous charges in Kentucky but will eventually be brought back to Adams County on the outstanding Kidnapping warrant.
The kidnapping warrant has a $300,000 bond.
Mason is also wanted out of Arkansas as well.
